Dates: 3rd – 10th April 2025
Location: Ozorków, Poland
Organized by: Association Strive! (Croatia) with partners EducAntwerp (Belgium), EuroFRC (Poland), Mojo de Caña (Spain), and Tolerance In You (Ukraine)
Participants needed: 5 participants (age 18-30) and 1 team leader (age 18+)

What is it about?
And.PERIOD is Erasmus + project focused on menstrual education and breaking stereotypes. We will explore cultural taboos, rights, advocacy, menstrual hygiene, and ways to take action in our communities. The exchange will be interactive, inclusive, and engaging, using non-formal education methods to create a safe space for learning and unlearning. Participation is fully funded by Erasmus+! This means that accommodation, meals, and travel costs will be covered according to Erasmus+ regulations.

Who are we looking for?
- open-minded individuals who value diversity and honesty,
- Youth aged 18-30 from Croatia,
- personalities who would love to share project results via media channels,
- motivated participants ready to engage in discussions about menstruation and contribute to a safe, supportive environment.
Program highlights:
- 3rd of April: Arrival of the groups – small gathering in the evening
- 4th of April: Getting to know us/each other and the program of the week
- 5th of April: Menstruations in EU and our countries/ Rights and Advocacy
- 6th of April: Campaigning: online and frontal practices
- 7th of April: Cultural taboos and how to deal with them and help others dealing with those
- 8th of April: Menstrual hygiene, education and poverty: towards action
- 9th of April: Future individual steps and evaluation
- 10th of April: Departure of the groups
Daily sessions will run from 10 am to 6 pm, with breaks and meal times. Detailed schedule participants will receive a week before mobility.
COSTS
This project is co-funded by the European Commission through the ERASMUS+ Programme, so all costs like travel, accommodation, and food during the exchange duration are covered.
The Erasmus + program covers the total costs of accommodation and food (3 meals per day) during the youth exchange.
There is an annual membership for joining our mobility projects. The membership price differs for active and passive members, volunteers, or newcomers, so for detailed info click here.
TRAVEL
Participants buy tickets with the organizers’ help, and travel costs will be reimbursed after the project. The maximum travel reimbursement budget for a participant from Croatia is 210 €. You can find more info about travel in the info pack.
